1. Introduction
This website is operated by Maya Ziv Law, Tel Aviv. All content on the site is for general information only and does not constitute legal advice or a legal opinion. Browsing the site or contacting the firm through it does not create an attorney client relationship. This Privacy Policy and Legal Notice explains how the firm collects, uses, and protects your information, and the terms that govern use of the site.
2. Information We Collect
The firm collects personal information that you voluntarily provide when you contact it through the website, namely full name, email address, phone number, and any detail you choose to include in your message. 3. How We Use Your Information and Legal Basis
The firm uses the information to respond to your inquiry and provide legal services, to communicate with you about those services, to comply with its legal and professional obligations, and to protect its legal rights. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, and the firm’s legitimate interest in responding to people who approach it and in taking steps at your request before a possible engagement.
4. Data Retention
The firm keeps the information you submit only for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and to meet its professional and legal record-keeping duties, and deletes or anonymises it once that purpose is exhausted.
5. Data Security
The firm applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
6. Your Rights Under Israeli Law (Amendment 13)
Under Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you have the right to access the personal data the firm holds about you, to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, to request deletion of your data where it is incorrect, incomplete, or no longer needed for the purpose it was collected and subject to the firm’s professional and legal record-keeping duties, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the Privacy Protection Authority. To exercise these rights, contact info@mayaziv-law.com.
7. Your Rights Under the GDPR (Visitors in the EU and the UK)
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation may apply to the firm’s processing of your data. In that case you also have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. The lawful bases are those set out in Section 3. Personal data you submit is processed by the firm in Israel, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection, so the transfer relies on that adequacy decision. The firm’s processing through this site is occasional and limited, and on that basis the firm relies on the exemption in Article 27(2) and does not appoint a representative in the Union.

The site does not use analytics, advertising, social, or other tracking cookies, and does not set cookies through third parties for those purposes. Because these cookies are essential to the basic operation of the site, they do not require prior consent. You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, though some features of the site may then not work.
9. Third Parties and Processors
The firm does not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties for their own purposes.
